Market Days at Rochester Public Market
The Rochester Public Market is renowned for its Market Days, held every single week of the year on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 am to 1 pm and Saturdays 5 am to 3 pm. The city-operated market features a marketplace of 300 vendors on peak Saturdays, ringed by an array of independent brick-and-mortar businesses. Shoppers can find the best food prices in the city, along with ethnic food, cafes, and flower shops. On Saturdays May through September, you can even snag free tastings from guest chefs outside the Market Office with Flavors of Rochester from 10 am to noon.
Drop a pin at 280 N. Union Street.
Market Days, however, are just the beginning. The Public Market features dozens of special-event days, most of which offer free admission. Here’s just a sampling of the festivities to be found at the Rochester Public Market. Download the complete schedule here.
