Pet-Friendly Rentals at Erie Station Village
February 2017
Your pet-friendly home in Rochester!
It can be hard to find a pet-friendly (especially dog-friendly) apartment or townhouse in Rochester, New York. Among the amenities at Erie Station Village is the ability to have pets in your place! (Go ahead. Breathe that sigh of relief.) We allow each unit to have up to two dogs or cats (two total, so if you’re mixing things up, that can be two of one or one of each). Better yet, your duo of co-inhabitants can weigh up to a combined 60 pounds, or up to 50 pounds for a single dog. That’s 20 pounds more than many other communities will allow!
Be a good neighbor!
As a pet owner at Erie Station Village, you’ll meet lots of new animal-loving friends. It’s a bonus of living in a pet-friendly community. But along with the joy of finally finding a pet-friendly place to live comes a set of responsibilities. The most important thing we ask of pet-owning residents is to minimize the impact of pet-related noise and waste on your neighbors. The non-pet-loving members of our community are down for living in a place that allows pets – so don’t do things (like leaving poo around) that make them mad at all the pet people!
The first rule of renting with pets…
Everybody understands that animals have minds of their own, and sometimes cats go crazy in the middle of the night for no discernable reason. We just ask that, as a member of an awesome animal-friendly community, you help make Erie Station even more awesome by doing everything you can to keep your pets clean and quiet. Make sure walks and litter-box clean-ups actually happen. If your roommate is being a not-so-great pet parent, try to respectfully clue them in. And not picking up poo around the community is a deal-breaker.
