One of the wonderful perks of the luxury townhouses and apartments at Erie Station Village is that each unit comes equipped with its own washer and dryer – no lugging your clothes to the laundromat every week! Of course even a room dedicated to cleaning can get a little messy sometimes. Here are a few tips we’ve rounded up to help keep your laundry room neat and tidy:

• Create a Sorting Station – it doesn’t need to be as fancy as this, but even the simple act of assigning a dedicated laundry basket to each family member can help cut streamline the process of getting clothes from the dryer to the drawers.
• Behind the Curtain – use a tension rod and curtain to cover your washer and dryer when they’re not in use, and add a little style and neatness to your laundry room.
• Lost Sock Station – Such a great idea! Glue clothespins to a board and voila! A place for single socks to hang out until their mate is found.
• Peg Board Cleaning Supply Station – Fabric-covered pegboard and wire baskets team up to create a great space to house your cleaning supplies, brooms and dust pans.
