Get Active, Get Fit, Get Happy!

That good old Western New York winter has rolled in full force, and we know many of you are frustrated that going out for a jog or walk has gotten difficult, or at least cold! Or perhaps you enjoyed the winter holidays a little too much and have set a New Year’s Resolution to get back into shape. Well, as always, Erie Station Village has got you covered.
Remember, if you’re a resident of one of our luxury townhouses or apartments, you have full access to our fitness center, conveniently located in the Clubhouse. Even more conveniently, it’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! So anytime you get the urge to get active (but aren’t feeling up to braving the frigid winter weather), swing by the Clubhouse and take advantage of our gear. We have both cardio and weight-training equipment. And even if you don’t have time to do a full hour on the treadmill or eliptical, recent studies have shown that weight-training (at any weight level), combined with smaller doses of cardio, is extremely effective and beneficial. Any exercise is better than none, and there’s no better way to feel good (physically and mentally) than by staying in shape. Before beginning any kind of workout regimen, be sure to consult your doctor about what is and isn’t safe for you.
