“As delicate as the magnolia flower; as tough as steel.”
These are the characteristics displayed by the female characters of Steel Magnolias, an iconic story of love, loss, and beauty-salon gossip. The equally iconic Eve Plumb, renowned for her role as Jan Brady, will play the part of Clairee in Geva Theatre Center’s production, running May 8th through June 3rd on the Wilson Stage. The bittersweet story of six tight-knit southern women who support each other through thick and thin is sure to warm your heart and put a smile on your face. Steel Magnolias, suitable for ages 13 and up, is the closing production of Geva’s 45th ESL/Rochester Regional Health Wilson Stage Season.
