Scenic Erie Station Village

Area Activity Guide: Rochester Brainery

August 2015

Although not all of us loved school, many of us have come to appreciate learning new things, even in a class setting, as adults. That’s why it’s always nice to have a place like the Rochester Brainery in the area. In fact, it’s only about 20 minutes from Erie Station Village, which adds a level of convenience to its appeal.

If you’re not familiar with it, the Rochester Brainery was started in 2013 and is an outlet for ongoing education. But we’re not talking about stuffy algebra classes (not that there’s anything wrong with algebra!). Instead, the Brainery hosts all kinds of interesting, enlightening classes. You can take single-session classes on everything from making comics, to birding, to beer brewing, to juggling, to Russian literacy, and beyond! And what makes this even better is that every class is $30 or under! The Brainery is a unique operation, and one that should be taken advantage of – we’re lucky to have such a place in town. Check out their website to find classes to take, or to propose one to teach yourself!
