We’re big on day trips, as well as festivals, so this event is right up our alley, and we hope it’s right up yours, too! On August 15th and 16th, the Genesee County Village and Museum will hold the 2015 Old Time Fiddlers’ Fair in Mumford, NY. Mumford is only 20 minutes south-west from Erie Station Village, so it’s exceptionally easy to pop over there for the first day, come home to get a good night’s sleep and then head back over the next day for day two!

The 35th Annual edition of the Fair will boast over 100 musicians, amateur and professional, from all over the state. The four stages promise pretty much non-stop music. There will be teaching/learning opportunities, open jam sessions, Gospel Hour on Sunday morning, square dancing, and even hammered-dulcimer performances.
