Area Activity Guide: KidsFest 2019
February 2019
A Day for the Kids
Rochester is having the kind of winter where, one day, the snow is piling up and the weather is perfect for playing outside. The next day, everything’s melting, slushy, and muddy. Neutralize the uncertainty by kicking off February break with an opportunity to get some of that energy out. Be the cool parent and take the kids to Total Sports Experience in Gates the first Saturday of winter break for KidsFest 2019!
For one day only — Saturday, February 16th, from 10 am to 4 pm — kids ages 2 to 12 can run wild in a giant indoor playground that spans three indoor soccer fields. It’s a fun and energetic day of play presented by the YMCA of Greater Rochester and designed to get kids up and moving! Activities include climbing a rock wall, navigating an obstacle course, inflatables, a soccer zone, and many more. Kids can meet animals and learn about wildlife conservation from the Seneca Park Zoo, and little ones can meet characters from WXXI. The food court will be open, and parents/guardians should plan to accompany their kids throughout the event.
Tickets are $10 at the door or $7.50 while they last at GetMyPerks.com. With each paid adult admission, a child two or under can get in free.
