Have a few 24-hour Christmas Story marathons under your belt? Treat the next generation to an updated tradition with the Tony-nominated musical version of this Christmas classic. All the iconic moments from the film are accompanied by memorable musical numbers for a fresh but familiar holiday experience. The Rochester Broadway Theatre League will present eight performances of A Christmas Story, The Musical at the Auditorium Theater December 12th through 17th. This hilarious, all-ages musical is true to the RBTL’s mission of providing opportunities for all people to experience, understand and enjoy the best in arts and performance. It’ll put a smile on the face of even your most theatre-phobic family members! Parents should keep in mind that the show is based on a PG-rated movie, so there are some sophisticated comedy moments and a bit of harsh language.
