Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner for two or a little bit of culture, Rochester offers so much to do to celebrate this Valentine’s Day! Send some roses to your sweetheart and ask if they’ll join you for one of these local events:

• Valentine’s Day Brunch and Film at the George Eastman House. Begin the day with a catered brunch, followed by a screening of the classic romantic film An Affair to Remember. • New York Ice Wine and Culinary Festival. The annual celebration of ice wines will take place at Casa Larga Vineyards in Fairport on Saturday, February 14th, from 11am – 6pm. Sample ice wines from all over New York State, take a tour of the winery, and enjoy a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through the vineyard. Tickets are $65 per person, and it is highly recommended that you purchase ahead of time, as this event has sold out in the past. • A Vegas Valentine. If you and your sweetheart love the theater and love to laugh, this show will be right up your alley. Vocal impersonator Frank Torchio will present a Rat-Pack style comedic musical at BlackFriars Theatre in downtown Rochester. Cost is $35 a ticket, and shows are at 6pm and 8:30pm on Saturday the 14th, and 2pm on Sunday the 15th. Visit bftix.org for tickets.
