Area Activity Guide: Krampus Does Hungerford

December 2018

A Delightful Way to Linger

Do you ever feel like lingering in the city on a Friday after work? Even if you don’t have anywhere in particular to be? First Friday Rochester is the perfect event to stick around for, and it’s made for the wanderer. Head to the Hungerford Building on Friday, December 7, from 5 to 9 pm for a chance to wander its four floors of artists studios and other oddities at your own pace. You’re sure to find a whole world of handmade wonders, some one-of-a-kind gifts, and more than a few surprises. Some studios will have free wine, festive treats, and other holiday goodies. You might even run into Santa (who is nice) or Krampus (who is definitely naughty).

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the Pirate Toy Fund to collect some good karma. Free parking is available at the Hungerford, the Credit Union across the street, or Greenovation — just don’t park at Happy Feet. And if you can’t make it Saturday night, stop on your way into town on Saturday between 10 am and 3 pm.
