Get ready for one of Rochester’s biggest events of the year. The 15th edition of the Rochester International Jazz Festival is about to hit downtown with more than 1,500 artists performing 324 concerts at 19 venues. That includes 93 free performances as part of the festival, and even more independent shows throughout the city. It’s the best possible time to explore all the recent developments downtown while enjoying incredible entertainment from around the world.
15 Years & Still Growing
Since the first installment in 2002, Rochester’s Jazz Festival has grown into a 9-day extravaganza. If you’ve never attended, you may discover that the diversity of spectacular talent makes you proud to be a Rochesterian. The unprecedented success of this distinctive festival is certainly due in part to the fact that it’s produced by a privately-held company. John Nugent and Marc Iacona have been successful in curating line-ups year after year that offer something for everyone. Even if jazz isn’t your thing, you’ll find something to enjoy by drifting from venue to venue.
New 3-Day Club Pass
The 9-Day Club Pass has long been the golden ticket to an abundance of Jazz Festival excitement, but not everyone can commit to more than a week of entertainment. This year, a limited number of 3-Day Club Passes will give ticket-holders unfettered access to all Club-Pass shows for any 3 days of the festival. The days don’t even have to be consecutive! The flexible new 3-day pass, combined with tickets to must-see Headliner Shows, creates the opportunity for every attendee to assemble their own personal perfect music festival!
