A Serious NASCAR Series

Love NASCAR but hate the travel? The annual Go Bowling at the Glen race is your chance to see big-league stock-car action close to home. Watkins Glen International is home to NASCAR’s only trip to New York State, which has become one of the most anticipated stops on the series’ schedule in recent years. Go Bowling at The Glen, one of three races in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule, is a 90-lap stock car race held in Watkins Glen, New York, on the 2.45-mile road course. But before the main event, fans can catch the NASCAR K&N Pro East Series on Friday, and the NASCAR XFINITY Series Zippo 200 on Saturday. Head to The Glen to find out whether a championship favorite solidifies their playoff standing or a wild card driver wins his way into contention. Hopefully, this year’s action lasts longer than last year’s, which ran just over two hours — the shortest race by time in the Modern Era.

Go Bowling – And Camping!

Who wants to leave an epic party early? Watkins Glen offers a variety of camping options during Go Bowling weekend. For a hefty fee, spectators can secure a campsite behind the Pit Road, adjacent to the paddock and all the on-track excitement. And for those who want a truly first-class experience, Glamping is also available this year! Stay close to the NASCAR action without the hassle of having to bring your own camping and sleeping gear. Glamping is in a quiet wooded area less than 200 feet away from the pedestrian bridge in Turn 11. It’s like a little, semi-private community away from the hustle and bustle of the other camping areas but still in a great location!
