Area Activity Guide: Flour City Brewers Fest

August 2018

Better Beer Every Year

Can you believe the Flour City Brewers Fest has been around for 24 years? That is, in fact, the case, and Rohrbach Brewing Co. is bringing you the 24th edition on Friday, August 17th, at the Rochester Public Market. It’s a summer celebration of New York State Craft Beer that runs from 6 to 9 pm. More than 60 brewers will gather from all over the state to bring attendees their best brews. With the craft beer boom of New York State in full swing, you can expect more new breweries than ever before. It’s the perfect opportunity to sip craft creations to your heart’s delights while also enjoying local food, live music, and much more.

More than Malt & Hops

Hoping to bring a buddy who’s not a beer person? There will be plenty for them as well! Several cideries, distilleries, and wineries will also be on hand, as will non-alcoholic vendors like Katboocha, Hikyoga, Radio Social, and Glen Edith Coffee Roasters. Live music by Big Mean Sound Machine and Significant Other will keep the party going while your favorite food trucks and Public Market vendors keep bellies full. It’ll be like Bands on the Bricks meets the Food Truck Rodeo, plus a smorgasbord of craft beer!
