Area Activity Guide: Springtime in the Country

April 2018

Handmade Housewares & More

It may not feel like Springtime in Rochester yet, but bright colors and beautiful fragrances will most certainly abound throughout the Dome Arena the weekend of April 13th-15th. Premier Promotions of WNY will be bringing its nationally acclaimed Spring Artisan Market to Henrietta for the first-ever Springtime in the Country Rochester event. Patrons will have the unique opportunity to connect with some of the nation’s finest artisans. The works on display will include garden art, handcrafted furniture, metal works, spa quality bath and beauty products, original music, trendsetting jewelry, gifts for pets, hand-poured candles, original wall art, clothing, home décor and gift items.

A Fresh Approach

Throughout Western New York and the Finger Lakes region, we’re lucky to have a wealth of handmade markets and artisan events taking place throughout the year. Springtime in the Country brings a bit of a different approach that includes an indoor format and an organization that curates exclusively handcrafted items. Patrons will have the unique opportunity to connect with more than 150 of the nation’s finest artisans. In addition to the handiwork, attendees will also find offerings from craft distillers and wineries, specialty foods, and live music. Admission is $7 for adults, and children under 12 get in free. Complimentary return passes are available at the information booth.
