Area Activity Guide: Hochstein at High Falls

June 2017

A Free Lunch-Hour Concert Series

What do you usually do during lunch? Chat with colleagues? Sit in your car? Do more work? During the summer months, Hochstein at High Falls gives you the opportunity to treat yourself to a midday escape. When Thursday rolls around, indulge in a little live music to free your mind from work-related worries and enjoy an hour of respite. It’ll calm your nerves, soothe your soul, and charge up your creativity for an ultra-productive second half of the workday.

Mix it Up!

One of the best things about Hochstein at High Falls is the diversity of music it presents. Each week, you’ll see a different style of music ranging from jazz and blues to Latin, folk, rock, and Afro-beat/funk fusion. You can bring your own lunch or pick something up at a food truck or nearby restaurant. If you don’t prefer an on-the-ground picnic approach, you’ll definitely want to bring your own chair. The noontime, 10-week summer concert series Hochstein at High Falls runs June 8 to August 17, 2017, on Thursday afternoons, beginning at 12:10 pm at the Granite Mills Park near the Pont de Rennes bridge at 104 Platt Street.
